The interactive spy museum, SPYSCAPE, designed by architect David Adjaye, opened in February 2018 in New York.

The museum aims to immerse visitors in the secret world of espionage with storytelling and personalized experiences. In the building complex of approximately 55 thousand square meters, there are a number of sections, each with exhibition areas that focus on seven different spying themes.

SPYSCAPE has many people and stories and devices, ranging from hackers in WWII to the youth who hacked CIA‘s website. Visitors can experience lie detection in query rooms, monitor surveillance tasks, or test their agility in laser tunnels. Through a realistic profiling system, visitors are able to discover the spy within themselves and learn how spying skills can be used in daily life.

Spyscape, the world’s first espionage museum, offers a unique experience to discover the secrets of yesterday, today and future secret agents. The purpose of the museum is not only to give its guests a few hours of fun and informative, but to show that their spying abilities are actually somewhat present in all of us. At the same time, to raise awareness of the visitors about how the world of espionage has surrounded us, to make them look at the world with different eyes.
